Hello!

I’m Elvis Ohiwere Esq.  A lawyer by practice, an entrepreneur by calling, and a social engineer by necessity…

I started off as SO3 Military Law Review Officer, though, as a call member at the Nigeria Army Headquarters, 1 Division Legal Services Unit, Kawo, Kaduna, and where, I was saddled with the responsibility of investigating and reviewing files of erring soldiers and officers alike. in line with The Armed Forces Decree 1993 (Decree No.105 as amended) 2001 Edition, wherein I brought in a legal principle (mens rea – criminal intent or guilty mind and actus reus – criminal act or guilty act) as was propounded in Okonkwo and Naish as it then was and which it said, must concur for a criminal offence to be established. Then, I also taught Captains and Majors International Law of War at the Command and Staff College Jaji, as a supporting staff, I was joining my boss then, Lt Col AQ Abubaker to deliver lectures in CSC Jaji.

I went into full legal practice with J.K. Jegede SAN & Co. and rose to head of Chambers. There, we handled a lot of corporate briefs, particularly from the Federal Ministry of Justice, before setting up my personal law firm, something the 1st Jan, 2009 and named: Elvis Ohiwere & Co. amongst others like Brace Law Partners and now the Advocate Solicitor.

I again left private practice to become a state counsel in my dear Edo State, where I was for about four years (on a contract basis) before leaving to reunite with my family at the Federal Capital Territory.

Not too long ago, I was appointed a Senior Legislative Aide at the Eleventh Assembly through the recommendation of my principal. As a Senior Legislative Aide, my main job then and rightly, was to deliver motions and bills for my principal and which I was delivering well to the best of my ability and to the point that I could turn in nineteen to twenty-three motions and three bills in a short while before insecurity began to set in notwithstanding I was trying to raise the bar for everyone’s ultimate high.

.

Leaving me with no choice but to excuse myself out of the scene to focus on my shadow work, which I am now very ready to manifest.

Thanks to the situations that have forced my inner self to focus on my purpose, and which has always been to speak and write even though such skills are hardly appreciated in this clime, but not anymore particularly in this age of Aquarius.

Suffice to say, therefore, that the desire to step aside and do the shadow work of myself  became much more obvious after my experience at the National Assembly as a policy maker but could not really function because of the systems in place, and it is this that has prompted my subconscious to further arise to what we are now here to witness. Now, I am embracing my inner call to sub-create my innate purpose as I also brace up to speak to ills in our public institutions, which are the engine rooms of any system
